I’ve used niwa.org a handful of times now, mostly when I’ve been looking up weather and climate info before making plans. I think the first time was while I was having coffee and trying to figure out if the weekend was going to be a washout, which is probably more context than anyone needs, but it was useful.

The site is straightforward and I didn’t have to click around forever to find what I needed. The pages loaded fine for me, and I like that the layout is simple without a bunch of distracting extras. I was mainly checking the weather and climate sections, and everything seemed clear enough.

Overall, I’m happy with it. It’s not the fanciest website in the world, but that’s not really what I was looking for. It feels reliable, easy to use, and it got the job done.

But yeah... some of the wording takes a bit of effort. If you already know the topic, it probably makes sense right away. If not, you end up rereading a few lines. I’ve done that more than once. A few charts are the same way. Interesting, but not always explained enough for someone just trying to understand the main point. Not a bad site at all. I still use it. I just think the reports could be a little clearer and more regular-reader friendly.
